How to pick a Rust clan, and answers to common questions »
Is Rust crossplay?
Partly. PC Rust (Windows and Mac on Steam) and Rust Console Edition are separate games and never share servers. On console, each server is set to Crossplay, PlayStation only or Xbox only, so PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players can play together on crossplay servers.

Teams of 8 by default
The in-game team holds up to eight players by default. That is a team-UI cap, not a group limit: vanilla servers do not stop larger clans cooperating. Softcore servers cap teams at four, and many community servers enforce solo, duo, trio or quad limits. |
