Being part of our clan means you are the best representation of our group. And
by best we don't mean you can solo everything blindfolded and with both hands
tied behind your back. It means you are there to help out and guide your fellow
group and clan member, be there in times of need and most importantly have fun
with other BC30 group and clan members. In order for us to have our clan that
way we've set up some criteria regarding clan membership.
First let's start with the dirty criteria. You will be expected to be an active
member of the clan. Remaining as a member-in-good-standing requires playing
Destiny with your fellow BC30 members on a regular basis and signing up for
sessions on the100. Members who have stopped playing or taking part in clan
activities for more than six months (or two Destiny releases) may be removed
from the clan (this will be checked via the100.io and Destiny API). Being
removed from the clan doesn't mean you're banned and as soon as you start
playing Destiny again you're welcome back in our clan when there's room.
Now the fun criteria on how to get into our clan. If you haven't done already
and start joining
or posting games
. For ease of communication and for us to get
to know each other a little better also join our
. Put yourself on the clan waiting list
and when you're still enjoying playing
with us after a month we'll bump you into our clan when there's space.
Welcome to Bravo Company 30!
We are a group of casual players from Europe and North America who like to have
fun, teach, learn, laugh, rejoice when one of us gets Gjallarhorn or
Fatebringer, passes PoE 35, completes a hard raid for the first time, has a son
and daughter play along and destroy Crota but most of all we like kicking
darkness' ass and taking names. Everyone is welcome to join our sessions no
matter your skill or light level, just as long as you bring your sense of
humour and something close to a working gun.
Clan meet up 2018.
This year’s clan meet up will be held on August 25th in Cologne, Germany. We’ll
be having a two part meet up, the first one is during Gamescom 2018
and the second part
will be later in the evening in a place where we can have some food and drinks.
So start booking your flights and hotels and signup on the game session
we know you are coming. More details will follow on our #cologne_meetup
Slack channel. See you all there!
Coming in September/October
BC30 Sherpa Sessions
What can you expect from a BC30 Sherpa Session? In one word: patience. The
sherpas take their time to explain to you as a fresh raider how to best survive
and learn the mechanics for the Destiny raids. We also want you to have a
better understanding of the raid so we will not only tell you where to stand
and shoot but also explain you why and let you experiment. Some of us have so
much knowledge of Destiny’s lore that they can even entertain you with stories
while you fight for your Guardian’s life. By investing in you to become a
better guardian we hope you can enjoy the raids more and feel more relaxed.
There are currently no planned sherpa sessions.
Thanks to the100.io some random players all over the world have found each
other in Bravo Company 30. We've taken on Destiny's PvE endgame not knowing
what to do or be guided by some of the wonderful BC30 members in Sherpa
sessions or just because they helped out whether asked for or not.
However, that end game also includes some PvP, special events like Iron
Banner and exotic weapon quests that ask the players to enter the dark salt
mine that is the Crucible!
Not everyone is comfortable with PvP though and the Crucible can be an
unforgiving place. The aim of the Crucible Academy is to provide a collection
of games & sessions for players of all levels to have fun while learning
different aspects of PvP in Destiny.
These collections of games were written down in the BC30 Crucible Academy book
with the help of many of our own members. Each week one topic will be covered
in two to three sessions with each session covering the same topic.
Small update on the Crucible Academy:
We had a great response to the first live testing of the Crucible Academy. Its
currently on hold and being tweaked in response to this. We'll also be looking
to see what Destiny 2 will bring us PvP wise to see what future adjustments
will be required. Watch this space!
Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!
Calling all geardians and guardians. It's time to race!
In the weekend of December 18 to 20 in 2015 some of the BC30 race fanatics got
together and held the first BC30 SRL GP. With practice rounds on Friday,
qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday it was an action packed weekend
for those who want to prove that they are the fastest on their Sparrow. Fast
forward to 2017 when two geardians got together and after a few too many drinks
came up with rules and modifiers to create some challenging races. Read all
about the modifiers and rules in our SRL setup guide
As part of our farewell to Destiny month we will have a total of four races for
the title of BC30 SRL GP Champion of 2017. Following the guidelines mentioned
in our setup guide we will have races on the following days:
Aug 6: SRL GP Race 1
Aug 13: SRL GP Race 2
Aug 20: SRL GP Race 3
Aug 27: SRL GP finals
The first three races count towards your total points. The top six after race 3
will continue to the final race to battle for eternal glory as winner of the GP
Results after race 3:
With contributions of our clanmember pirate_dani
wonderful people over at Destiny Ghost Stories produced the Story of Destiny.
It's the story of Destiny starting at the proto-hive all the way up to when we
are awakened by our ghost and a great way for both new and longtime Destiny
players to read up on the history of Destiny. Be sure to read the intro
and then continue
with the Books of Sorrow story
followed by the Vanilla story
. If you want to know more about
the lore of Destiny be sure to check out the DGS podcasts
